STAGE ZERO – Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the STAGE ZERO platform (“we”, “our”, or “the Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

There are three types of users on STAGE ZERO:

• Creators – who propose projects and may recruit talent or seek crowdfunding.
• Backers – who fund projects but do not expect a financial return.
• Collaborators – who apply to or are recruited for creative roles in projects.

2. Eligibility

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Agree to our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
• Not be barred from receiving services under any applicable laws.

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to use most features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You may delete your account at any time.

4. Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Creators

• Must provide accurate information about their project.
• Are responsible for fulfilling any representations made in the project (e.g., delivering updates, recruiting collaborators).
• May not offer financial returns or investment opportunities unless legally authorised.
• Must use any crowdfunding funds in alignment with the stated project goals.

4.2 Backers

• Contribute voluntarily with no expectation of a financial return.
• Understand that project outcomes are not guaranteed.
• May receive perks or community involvement as described by the Creator.

4.3 Collaborators

• Apply or are invited to participate in projects.
• Understand that compensation terms (if any) are defined by the Creator and must be clearly agreed in writing.
• Must comply with the Creator’s terms, provided they don’t violate these Terms or the law.

5. Platform Rules

• Misrepresent your identity or role in a project.
• Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, or infringes intellectual property.
• Use the platform for fraud, harassment, or any illegal activity.
• Circumvent the platform’s features (e.g. taking transactions off-platform to avoid fees).

6. Payments and Fees

• Donations are processed through third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).
• Creators may be charged platform fees unless exempt (e.g. Premium members).
• Tips to STAGE ZERO are optional and non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain rights to any content you upload.
• You grant STAGE ZERO a limited, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and promote your content as part of the platform.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct.
• You may also delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee the success, delivery, or quality of any project.
• We are not party to agreements between Creators and Collaborators.
• All use is at your own risk.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
